Google Cardboard
Google Cardboard is a virtual reality (VR) platform developed by Google for use with a smartphone. The platform is named after its fold-out cardboard viewer. Users can either build their own viewer from simple, low-cost components using specifications published by Google, or purchase a pre-manufactured one. The viewer is used by launching an app that works with Google Cardboard on a smartphone, placing the smartphone into the cardboard viewer, and then interacting with the app through the interfaced viewed through the cardboard lenses. Apps that work with Google Cardboard are available for both Android and iOS devices
